Default C5 Wheel question

Hello, I'm going to replace the OE polished thin spokes on my 02 convertible with chrome C6 Z06 wheels. My question is, can I go 1 inch wider front and rear ( 8.5 to 9.5 front & 9.5 to 10.5 rear) and still use my original Goodyear run-flats with no issues? Thanks in advance, Al.

Default zo6 wheel change

1 just bought 2 sets of gm factory polished aluminum zo6 whells and mounted my stock tires and all fits good , be carefull as most of the chrome wheels are only warrantyed at best for 3 years because after that the chrome starts to flake or chip ,thats why i stayed with the polished aluminum good for a lifetime if you need more input call me at 610 2508628.

Go to the Tire Rack website and check out the specs on the tires you want to use. they will list the max and min rim width recommended for the particular tire. If you are within the limits no problem. If not think again before using them - too wide or narrow cause problems with the sidewall rolling and possibly separating from the trim.
