19" Wheels all around - Problems???
I have a friend who has a set of CCW 505a's he wants to sell me. They have been through at least 3 owners and he says thay need a polish. Ok, I have no problem with that but.... the fronts are 19x9.5 and the rears are 19x11. The tires are Pirelli P Zeros.
What I am wondering is this. Will 19" wheels all around the car be a problem???

They should not be a problem. I run 18x10.5 all around. Same size tires even. You just need to get properly sized tires, that's all.

The largest problem is tire choice. The 19 all around setup is fine, but your tire options are a bit limited
However,you can still find them
I run 295/35/19 rears( Most run 30 series in the rear as the 35 series is impossible to find now)and 275 /30/19 fronts
No problems with either of these setups,as long as you are minimally 295/30 rear and 275/30 front, you are good to go

It's not a problem. CCW sells a lot of 19" all the way around packages. Just make sure your tires are sized right in order for the traction conrol system to recognize the front and back. The back needs to be taller. CCWs are sweet! Get them!

19s all around look nasty.
I've got 19x10 and 19x13 505As with 275/30 19 and 345/30 19 Pilot Sports. I still need to do a little more tub work, but the new shoes totally changed the look of the car.

Thanks guys I really do appreciate the help. The possibility of running larger rotors will be nice too.

I've been considering CCW SP500's and have seen a lot of 18/19 and 19/19 combos. Is one package preferred over the other? I'd assume the 18" fronts would be easier to find tires for. Is there any particular reason to choose one over another?

19/19 all around look awesome, but 18/19 you have more tire choices and save some money.

I thought the active handling would throw codes if you didn't have a difference in front to rear diameters.............or am I late to the party here?

You are correct, however the tire sizes posted above have enough stagger that it does not trip anything

See the first quote? This is what I was referring to........it says "same size tires even"
I thought the word "same" meant: identical, unchanging, unvarying, not different
but what do I know???????????????????????????
