Headlight problem...C5

Yesterday, I downloaded the performance tune with my Predator programmer. Keep in mind it tells you to make sure the parking lights are off. Anyway, I get in the car today, turn on the parking lights only, & the headlights pop up! They never popped up with just the parking lights before. So I turn the lights off, the lights go down, & the left light makes a grinding noise for about 5 seconds(& does so now everytime I turn them off). I doubt if the programming is related to the problem, but I figured I'd mention it.

From: Bugs Bunny should'a made a left turn here

your headlight motor gear is shot. replace the both of them with brass gears.

Is that also why the lights pop up when only the parking lights are on?

EDIT: After doing a search, it seems both problems should be fixed after changing the gears.

when you get yours fixed let me know mine does the same thing

Predator wants you to turn everything off so your battery voltage wont go much below 12 volts. If it does, you could corrupt the file during the flash of the computer.
