Default Quick Vararam Install Question

I am going to do this on Sunday. I have a jack and stands and wanted to know for the guys who have done it, did you just jack the front up or did you put the car on jack stands.

How high in the air does the front need to be?

Did my install on ramps...10 inches high. Had plenty of room underneath. A drill will make the job easier and faster because of the many fasteners underneath that you have to unfasten. The install is relatively easy...just tedious. The shroud fasteners can either be replaced with new ones or reused (replacing is much faster for the install). Good luck.

I just completed my install on tuesday. I would only jack up the front 2-3 feet. One nice thing about doing this install is that you can clean all the junk that has accumulated at the top of the a/c condenser.

Because its not as easy as just takin a clamp off and putting the new filter on It requires more work. But seriously it's such an easy install, its just that it takes longer than 15 min to do.

I am actualy looking forward to doing it. It is very theraputic for me to work on the car on a nice day and I feel good for saving money by doing it myself.

I just did the B&M shfiter last night and it is awsome!
