If you don't wax it, you'd better leave it out of the sun, rain, away from birds, trees, smog, etc. Keep it slick and help all that bad stuff slide off. Look at one not waxed, look at one waxed, make up your own mind. (If you can find a Vette anywhere not waxed)
Who the heck says waxing a C5 is bad? Who thinks like that? Why in the world would it be a problem?
(I'd like to hear the rationale, actually, so I can turn it into a "Honey, there's no need for me to vacuum, because, you know, it's bad for the rugs" argument...)
By all means polish it - - - there are many good polishes on the market - - - members have a tendency to swear by the brand they use - - I use Zaino - - but - - - for really good protection put a coat of Rejex on it afterwards - paint, wheels, and glass - - - It's great stuff - - Look it up on web - - type in key word Rejex

I would love to hear the logic in NON waxing as well. Perhaps it is some fiberglass wives tale?
Can you please fill out your bio sheet. I can be helpful to see what area and year/mod vette you have. Sometimes someone can help you in your area if you have a repair/mod. Or they can direct you to a shop in your area. Many reason to see the bio.

V just after the posting area. Never looked at it , but I have heard people say that before. I don't partake of that brand of Kool-Aid
I highly doubt that there is a problem with waxing a corvette, I actually do it quite often, because I wash all the household cars, three of five being corvettes, I will never believe that it has any adverse affects, but I would like to hear the source of your information.
