Would appreciate input. Any FRC's out there that have installed a power antenna? Did you use GM factory's or after-market. Problems or difficulty with install? Is factory wiring already there? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
No problem, I might do the install also. If you can't get info here. Call Westcoast Corvettes. They sell it and might be able to answer some of your questions although I am surprised more forum people haven't done that Mod.

The best deal would be at Fichtner's. I think I paid a little over $100 for a factory power antenna kit with brackets. As far as West Coast Corvettes, I believe their power antenna for $99 was discountinued.
Yeah definitely go with Fichtner. I also got mine for a 100.00. All you need other than that is the wires to power it, which is just basic wire you can get anywhere. The power antenna in the magazine is 200.00, save a 100.00 with Fichtner and apply that extra 100.00 toward another mod.
I bought a harada Full power antenna and wired it to a small switch hidden in the driver ashtray. This way I keep it doen until the reception goes bad. The Harada fits great and you can easily construct a bracket with the metal supplied with the antenna. I think I paid 50 bucks at walmart for the antenna.
