OK, here is the graph. I gained almost 7 RWHP and 13 TQ. It's about what I expected. The graphs shows my old run (330.1 RWHP) and my new run (336.6 RWHP) superimposed.

Those of you thinking that these headers will give you 15-20 HP are mistaken unfortunately.......

Nice gain! Torque is the key and you increased the area under the curve nicely.

How does the extra power feel?? Are you happy with the mod?

Yes, very happy with the mod. It sounds better too.
I can't tell a SOTP difference, however, it did lower my average ET by .1 and increased my mph by 1.5

I looked on your site at your dyno sheet. You gained over 50 HP with heads and Z06 intake?

I'll take a cam shaft over long tube headers anyday...much more efficient use of mod dollars. Of course, LTs on top of a cam shaft will rock! 2th, I see a cam shaft in your near future... :D :smash:

Do you monitor your air/fuel ratio? You may be losing a lot of HP and torque by running too rich, or too lean. Just curious. :chevy

Add that cam and underdrive pulley and I bet you get around 360 RWHP out of that puppy!

After you spent all that money, you might want to spend a little more and get a MAFT. If you are running too rich or Too lean (which is common with these types of mods) you will get addl HP and TQ if you tune using a MAFT. Prelim number on my MAFT gave me 18 addl LB's of TQ (based on EASE scan). I'm doing a DYNO on 12/1 to get the actual results

Me? I've autotapped the car and it runs fines on the A/F mixture. I picked up an honest 25-30 horsepower. I need to have my cats removed to see what a wide band O2 would read exactly, but the autotap says I'm running good.

Those numbers look good I may try the LT headers after MTI puts my cam in next month.

Pretty much so. Like others have said..tuning is everything. The more mods you do the more you appreciate guys like Steve Cole.

2thDr: Very nice gain, especially TQ, through out the RPM range. :D Who cares about peak gains!!! Can't wait until I get my dynoed tomorrow.:smash: Didn't dmc1007 gain 16RWHP with the TPIS LT on his car?

DMC1007: Do you happen to have the dyno graph, before and after the TPIS install?

Finally I got my car dynoed with the TPIS on. I will post the graph as soon as I get it scanned into the computer.

2thDr is right on the money regarding to PEEK RWHP/TQ gains. :smash: :smash: :smash:

I only gained 6RWHP & 11.5TQ @ peak. But I picked up a solid 18-20RWHP/TQ increase across from 4100RPM to 5500RPM range.

Even with the stock plugs replaced (with NGK TR55), the engine pinged again right at 5600RPM. Jayson @ MTI said he has seen it on quite a few non-heads&cam LS1's and it's pretty normal. I will get it checked out with AutoTap soon and report back.
