i had a 425 whp horsepower motor put in a month ago, and decided it would be a good idea to replace the clutch / pressure plate, resurface the flywheel, and replace the slave cylinder. i went with a spec clutch as good for 430 whp, imediatly noticed that it was shaking the drivetrain when i would start off in to first, checked the forum and it said it would wear off in 500 or so miles.... ok no big deal. i had only put roughly 400 freeway miles on the new motor and clutch, with about 3 or 4 punchs from a roll never did it slip, then one morning i start it up, get on the freeway and it starts slipping at 3/4 throttle.
took it back to the clutch installer thinking maybe a leaky rear main but the clutch was clean. does this seem normal for a clutch/pp to go over night when it was driving fine the last time i pulled into the drive way?
