Default Stripping Transparent Top
Does anyone know of a chemical that will safely remover the outer tinted layer on the Lexan top? I am trying to prep one to have clear coated. It sands off easily with 2000 grit, but I am trying to find a safe way to remove it without introducing any scratches.

Chances are that whatever is strong enough to strip away the film is also strong enough to eat the polycarb that is lying underneath.
