torque tube disassembly
I am rebuilding a 01 zo6 that suffered damage to the input shaft on the torque tube. I have the tube out but need help in how to remove the shaft and bearings. I can see what might be threads for a gear puller on the trany end of the tube but do not see the same on the engine side. Any help would be appreciated.

The shaft pulls out the back side (transmission end), I can't remember how the 01 is configured, there will either be bolts that secure the center shaft or a snap ring, either way remove them and then give it a good tug, it should pop right out.
I have a slide hammer that I've used in the past to pull these out but it only takes about 10 pounds of force to pop the inner shaft out of the tube.
