One of my nology wires got burned and spliced in half.( Car was running like ****...bogging out..backfiring..etc) So instead buying a set of 8 nology wires i just bought a set of 8 msds and replaced the one wrecked nology with a msd. Will it make a differnce in my spark or should i just replace all 8 with the msd wires. What will give me the best performance. I seem to feel like my car backfires alot more when befor. (Ive got no cats with headers and borla)...could just be me.

You have seperate coils for each plug... I'd say you'd never know you had a mix and match set. For that matter I think it's a safe bet there's no diff between a full set of nology's or msd's... kind of like oil threads imho.

I disagree on the wires being the same. Take your volt/ohm meter and read the resistance of the stock wires and see what that is per wire. Then use the same meter and check the resistance of the MSD or Nology wire and see what the reading is. IIRC, the stockers are about 350+ ohms. The MSD's are about 35 ohms or so. Less resistance = more amperage = hotter spark.
