Life Without TPS

I'm changing wheels and tires that won't have TPS units. Will I show a DIC all the time? Can I reset it or turn it off without a programmer?

actually worked better

I had to leave the rear tire preasure sensors off when i switched to aftermarket wheels. it flashed everytime i started the car because the fronts still worked.

ended up taking off all four and it never displayed any warnings it was heaven.

year later now i have the wagon wheels back on with the tps in and they all work fine.

You can clear the warning with the reset button. On 2001 and up it can be programed out.
