Fan Motor Replacement
I've just traced my Code 0480 error to actually being the fan motor. Low speed One. The issue is this , by looking at the GM Service Manuals I have to do the following before I can get to it :
1- Remove Coolant line & Drain System.
2- Remove Entire Fan Shroud.
Obviously with my SC installed this makes the $50 part replacement a labour intensive job
.
My question is , can I replace the fan motor with the shroud & other stuff still intact if I lift the car ? Has anyone done this before ?
