anybody have pics with the ssautochrome install pics i just purchased and the x pipe dont look like it bolts right?? im not using cats, the what else do i need
no, you don't have to weld them. Just get your car on a lift and before you take anything off hold the new X pipe up even with the stock one. You will have to cut the stock H pipe off. Before you cut it off you will notice that the new xpipe isn't as long so you will have to cut the stocker back far enough so you can slide part of the stock pipe in to the new xpipe.. Kinda hard to explain but once you get the car in the air and hold the new pipe up to your stock one you will see what I mean and will know where to cut your old pipe.
Look at your new xpipe and you will see how the ends are flared up a little, that is so you can slide the stock pipe in to it and clamp it.
the little middle piece that slides to headers the back side has to be welded when you slide to pieces in it has a welded in tube no way to put a clamp on it but iell get it to a shop
I was thinking of installing the headers then driving down to the muffler shop and having them fit the xpipe to the catback.
Is this going to be too loud?
Will I get pulled over and ticketed?
