Body Side Moldings

Am wondering if the body side moldings can be removed from the C5? Are they attached with pressure tape, or, are they drilled thru the body with attaching hardware on the backside?
Personally, would like to have a C5 without the molding . While looking to buy, need to know if this option can be removed easily, etc.

boublfresh- I'm a new member here, dont know my way thru the streets yet.
what I'm doing here is searching for a C5 red/tan/6 speed . If it has the BSM I would like to take them off (pure personal choice) and was wanting info on how to remove them.
Thanks, I will try to educate my ownself on a search.
