Headers installation C5 vs C6
I’ve done quite a few header installs on the C6. I’d like to inquiry as to some of the major differences from the C5 and C6 in terms of headers installations.
If you have something positive and/or helpful to add please do. I'm looking more for the major differences and anything special I need to look for when installing that may be different than the C6 setup.
I’ll be looking at installing a set of longtube headers, HF Cats, and x pipe while retaining the factory Ti pipes.
I also noticed that some of these headers have air tubes which are new to me.
The car is an ’04 Z.

I put LG street series w/cats on my o4 CE z by following the the LS1How To Do. Look up header installation. I printed it anf follwed it step by step. If I had a problem I called LG and they squared me away with the assembly of the header sections. I kept the TT muffs. The sound is awesome. I recently removed the cats and love the sound even better, not to over bearing @ WOT, sounds like a vette should,BAD!!!!. If you can't locat the file let me know and i'll email it to you.
