Default NEED HELP>> ls6 intake swap

I just found a 1/16"- 1/8 " black tube about 4 " long.
The back of the intake has a port for the power brakes and a smaller one. Did this line connect to it ? It must. And what does the other side connect to ? And did i brake this line ( its only 4 " long ) ?
Thanks

That smaller vacuum line goes to a vacuum canister below the battery. I believe it broke off. You may be able to get a double male adapter to join it back to the vacuum line. I would try that if it seems to be in good shape, otherwise you may want to just a new line all the way to the vacuum canister. The rest of that vacuum line runs in the wire harness on the back of the engine.

it gives vacuum to the ac/heater controls... gotta have it. You have the 4" line with the 90 degree connector on it? just dig into that wiring harness, you should find that line.. it won't be too far down in there. I think only about 3 or 4 inches normally sticks out of the harness.

the 90 degree elbow connects with intake- right ?
Its just a pain in the butt Back there. The metal smog pipe goes straight accross and over the harness.
Which direction is the connector in the harness ( toward drivers side or pass side ) ?
Sorry about all the questions. But, i have been trying to figure this out for 4 hours and have bloody nuckles.......

Yes, the elbow goes on the intake. I don't believe there is a connector in there, I think you just broke the vacuum line when you pulled the intake out. It should be going towards the passenger side.

Is the 4" line you are talking about still connected to the harness? If it is, just plug it into the 90 degree elbow and you are done. That's all GM gave you to play with.
