I just changed out my F45 shocks with some Bilstein Sports. The problem I have run into is that the rear plugs don't match up for the 2-prong simulator caps. The 3-prong caps worked just fine, and both 2 & 3-prong worked fine on the front.
Looking at the factory 2-prong plug where it's supposed to connect to, they seem to be identical male connectors. So, I was unable to connect 2 of the sim caps and this has caused a check gauges message and max speed of 80mph.
The simulator cap kit I got was from CorvetteGarage.com
This is on a 2003 50th Anniversary Coupe. The kit says it's for 1997-2004, but maybe there is a difference that I'm missing. I've seen some F45 setups with 3 choices. Mine only has Sport or Touring.

Reason: added info.
If you have a 2003 you have the MSRC (F55) suspension option. F45 was not available in 2003. Cars with F45 have 3 positions for the Ride Control selector ... F55 cars have two positions.
YEP. Just have the F-55 option de-programmed from the BCM! It will have to be done with a GM TECH II. If you get the option removed, you wont need the silly Sims!
Anyone have instructions or a link to how to deprogram the F-55 from the BCM using the GM Tech II tool? I called the dealership a moment ago and said they could probably do it, but he didn't seem too sure on how to. So I would like to have the instructions handy just in case.

Thanks!
You might give Shawn a call at LG motorsports in Wylie. He might give you the info needed. He did mine at LG's today.
Search the forum for F45 Delete. There is a write up on it... i had mine done at the dealer w/ a tech II. Took 5 minutes, cost $20... Removed the option from the BCM so it doesn't even look for it anymore... no more codes, no more 80mph limit... C6Z06 shocks for me!

Also, be sure the controller is disconnected/removed before you try to delete the option from the BCM. When the car is started, if the BCM sees the controller on the network it will add the option back on.
