Hey guys, yesterday I ran the c5 for the first time in the 1/4, my first time too. It was 98 to almost 100 degrees and my best time was a 13.7sec, .037r/t, 2.2 60ft @ 105mph. Im at work and I left the slip at home but thats what I remember. I think it was ok since most LS1 camaro's with headers, full exhaust, cam and stickies were running 13.4-5's. BTW all I got is CAI, Predator tune, Borla straight pipe(axle back), sorry *** runflats(didnt hook) and 2.73 gears. Does that time sound average at least?

I did a 13.3 @ 105, but it is much cooler here, so that means a denser air and more HP.
Mine is pretty much stock, with stock run-flats and Vararam, but I have the 3:15 gears, that may be the big difference.

Different tracks, different weather, etc make it difficult to compare. Stock for an A4 2.73 should be 13.4-13.5. 13.7 is not good, and you can really see it in your 60' times. Try practicing the launch by reading the advice here on this forums (Try the drag section, too). Get them down below 2 and you should be in the low 13's.

FYI, the best I've run is 12.89 w/1.9 60', with only mod a Vararam.

Times seem reasonable for the heat. You need to work on your launch a bit. I've gotten sub-2.0 60' times on runflats and a stock converter (though I have 3.15's).

heat kills performance, D/A must of been very high when you where running, work on your 60ft times, you should be in the 2.0 60ft with the runcraps, drop 2 tenths in your 60ft and will show a 4 tenth drop in your 1/4 mile time

my 02 C5 with A4 trans, 273 gears ran 12.79 at 111mph with a 2.0 60ft with runcraps in cooler air 65 degrees, first time at the track with this car, only mods where a programmer, Vortex cold air intake, and a few simple track prep mods

13.7 is good for your set up.Run flats are probably the worst tires you could use to drag race, and your 60' times show it. 2.73's are fuel milage gears Isn't it amazing how our cars run and still get 30mpg? Now go back to the track and try to improve your times because your car has a lot left in it!! And most of all have fun.
