Default F45 suspension delete did not work!! HELP!!

98-coupe, 6-spd, F45 suspension. So I decided to have the F45 option deleted, and install C6 Z06 shocks. Went to a performance shop last Saturday and mine was the second C5 he ever worked on with deleting the F45 option using a Tech II. Today morning start the car and boom "SHOCKS INOP" + "SERVICE RIDE CONTROL" + "SERVICE VEHICLE SOON" pops up.
Read DIC get the following code

B0432 H C <-- I have been getting this for while, could be the dim LCD display on my HVAC control panel.

but nothing related to the shocks. I will take the car back to the shop but was wondering if some forum gurus knew what the guy did not do right? BTW had been getting the "shocks inop" for a while before the delete try.

You have to delete the option before you remove the parts and the controller. If it was the reverse you have to hook it back up to clear the code you are getting and then delete.

you have to unplug the rtd controller or it will un do your delete, you will need to have all your new shock available for immediate replacement, the car will ride like it has no shocks at all with rtd turned off and the f45 shocks still in place

The following instructions indicate that all you need is to turn the F45 option off ..

http://www.stopforce.com/RPO.html

If I need to unplug the rtd controller are these the rtd controllers on each f45 shock? I would much appreciate if someone can let me know the exact procedure from A to Z so I can pass this onto the shop. I am sure there are many that will be but I am challenged in the tech jargon :o

My RTD computer wasn't even in the car when I had the option deleted.
1. Unplug the RTD computer.
2. delete the option with a tech-2
3. install new shocks, and enjoy

(If you leave the RTD computer plugged in it'll re-enable the option.)

I agree with this 100%. Clear with tech2 and then remove the box in the rear or at least unplug. Computer see it and it defaults back to the F45 setup.

Quick step by step.

Key off unplug control module. Located in the left rear compartment behind the carpet in the trunk.
Replace all 4 shocks.
Drive to where ever Tech 2 is located.
Go into BCM setup with the "KEY OFF"
Delete F45.
Press save and your done!!
