Default Vararam owners- beware

I have my Vararam in now for several months. I was driving the car the other day, when a piece of newspaper flew up in front of the car. I didn't see it in my rear view mirror, and figured it got stuck against the front of the car.All of a sudden, it felt like the engine was missing. I pulled over right away, got out, and saw the paper lying in front of the car. I got back in, and everything was fine. It must have blocked up the intake ducts on the front bumper. It makes me even more relieved that I put ZO6 screens on the car since this would have gotten sucked in to the intake, and it would have been a real PITA to get out. GET THOSE SCREENS!!!

Good advise!
But it probably wouldn't have been as bad to clear out as you think anyways, since it can't get past the filter..

on road trips, I use a bra...
It prevents frequent filter cleaning...

When I have to run over something like that I always watch for it to come out the other end, many times it doesn't so you have to pull over and find out where the heck it went. Plastic bags on the exhaust can get pretty nasty too

WHAT????? If the bra helps in keeping the filter clean, it must be blocking the air intake. This isn't a good situation.

many different types of bras out there...
some have mesh netting/screen over the fog light and brake duct areas.

I use a C5reations lycra bra the air readily blows through it.

Yeah, but do they all provide the support and create the look that we are all looking for?
