I'm 99.9% sure the FRC and convertible uses the same quarter panel.

EDIT: A quick look up in the manual here shows they are the same part number of 10418389 about $356 at GMPARTSHOUSE.com

they are different, very small though. you can use a Vert on a FRC by trimming the forward upper corner ext. back about 3/4 in. and slot the two upper forward screw holes. Cannot use a FRC on a Vert

If you order a Vert and a FRC quarter from GM you will get the exact same part! And I have not seen any trimming required to fit it on a FRC.

I think what you are referring to is if you are replacing a quarter on a FRC with the top still on the car you may need to modify the quarter slightly like slotting the screw holes.

I have not seen the need to modify the front of the quarter as long as you are careful working in behind the top of the rocker panel. BUT every car is a little different.

So unless someone has modified his quarter, it should be usable on either model. The slotted screw holes (if it has them) will not affect its use on a Vert.

They are different, at the forward upper edge, the FRC will have a raised lip to keep water out, the convertible will be flat.
