Rear Axle Nut
Does anyone know for sure what the size of the rear axle nut is?
I had 2 different replies on a recient post.
33MM or 34MM??
I bought a 34MM and it seems slopply, I don't want to round the nut over.

I've always heard it was 34... but then again some are saying 33!

1 5/16 fits
Try a 1 5/16 socket. Works great for me.

Don't have one and I'm not buying another one to use just once!

Thanks Bill. Maybe I can return the one I got and exchange it for a 33.

I went to Pep Boys today and they exchanged the 34MM socket I bought yesterday for a 33MM for me.
It fits great.
Maybe the 34MM would of worked but I didn't want to take a chance on rounding the nut over.
So if anyone else wants to tackel the job of removing the rear axle
it's
33MM
