Default Can I run Cats?
Hey guys, just installed longtubes with an offroad setup. I have been driving the car around and see that it is spitting carbon all over the rear bumper. I know cats will help prevent this. Can I run High Flow cats with no air tube system? It has been removed.

Proper tune on it? Should not spit black on car...sounds rich. Cat's will help but make sure the A/F is right throughout the RPM range.

Yes, you can. The AIR system doesn't change anything, all it does it heat the cats up faster when the car is first started.
