Does anyone here have experience with this software with the GM enhanced system. I talked to them and they said that they could do about 90% of what the Tech II can do with bidirectional communication for real sensor data. They said that their system supports BCM,PCM,AC,INSTRUMENT,LDCM,RDCM,REMOTE,R TD,SEAT CONTROL,and AIRBAG. This can all be done via an old laptop with usb 2.0 support. The whole thing only cost about $400 total with the enhanced GM expansion. That is far cheaper than $2500 for a used Tech II. Any information from anyone on here using this product would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know what you think of the software along with its capabilities and how difficult it may be. If this is worth the money I may order this. Thanks in advance.

Haven't tried them although wondering the same thing you are wondering. Do they support the ABS system? I would prefer them supporting that Vs door control modules.

They work fine, I've had the Ford and GM modules for awhile. The manuals are on their site.

We have both at work, I brought the autoenginuity home to check a code on my mom's car. I had the key to the acces position and the stereo going, and all of a sudden the stereo goes pop and shuts off. I disconnected the autoenginuity and then turned the car off and on again. The stereo worked but I never used it again for one of my own cars.

What do you want to do with it, look at some real time numbers and log them and pull codes because I think that is all that it is capable of. If you want to reflash code and stuff I don't think that it cad do that.

Post what you want to be able to do and I will try to check it out on Monday and let you know if it is capable or not.

You can't retune w/ it. You can run bi-directional tests (i.e. commanding EGR opening/closing) with them and see HVAC/ABS and other data you can't with standard OBDII readers. I have triggered Security with it trying to tickle BCM;s on some GM's but a disconnect and restart always cured it.
