Default High Temps

Today I was in stop and go trafic and my temp gauge was going up to 240 degrees this is the first time this has happend.....Is this normal....What should I do.....Thanks

You should search coolant temps or temperature range or running hot. It's not running hot, but that will get you into hundreds of posts discussing how normal it is and what you can do to lower it. My suggestion is clean out the grass and debris in the radiator/ac condensor area first. But look at your gauge, 240 is not in the warning area. If your ac is on the fans will be on and help keep it down. At 240, the fans should be on anyway.

Defintely check for debris, especially if it is only when you are not moving.
