Laptop software for scan tool

I just purchased a scan tool to use on my autos with my laptop. Does anybody know where I can get the software specific for our C5's?

It is a basic OBD scan tool to trouble shoot error codes, reset them, & that sort of stuff. I have some basic softwares like digimoto & OBD-ll scanmaster. I want to get software so I can change some of the parameters on my care like when the fans come on.

Don't think there is any. You have to buy a specific scantool that allow you to change parameters (like ls1edit). Most Generic tools have Specific modules for different vehicles. My Autoenginuity has modules for all the major manufacturers but will NOT allow you to permanently make changes-the bi-directional communication capability if for testing ONLY.

You need TUNING software/hardware for that! If your scanner doesn't come with TUNING software see if they offer any but if not you will need to get a different piece of hardware w/software! The hardware/software goes together as a package and all the software is very hardware specific.

Here's a site to look at ... AutoTap is the hardware that connects your laptop to the car's OBD2 port .... then look on the same site for EFILive software ... made specifically to allow you to tune/alter your PCM software. EFILive runs on the PC.
