Does anyone know about 303 Protectant for canvas?I read on Amazon that it was Haartz recommended.I'm not sure if that spelling is right, but they make the tops on the newer vettes.I'm about to treat mine and I can buy 303 locally. The top is clean so all I need to do is rinse and treat.Any hints, tips, how to's from you out there who have done it?...Thank you......Mac
Aeropace 303 protectant is an excellent product. I have used it. I prefer Raggtopp protectant because it lasts a bit longer. but you you will get good protection from aerospace 303...
The advantage to aerospace is it is locally available and because it is more widely available there is price competition meaning a lower price.
Haartz is huge in convertible tops and also in the game of supplying vinyl... they supply my company with millions of sheets per year. Next time I see one of the main guys around I'll ask them about this, I'm kind of curious what they'll say.
I use 303 fabric protectant for the top - beads just like the body. Make SURE the top is dry when you apply. My '99 top looks like new.
Regular? 303 goes on everything else inside plus rubber seals. Imparts a nice soft luster and won't attract dust as much as some other products. Does a nice job on tires too if you like 'em not too shiney.

Reason: spelling
Yep, the aerospace 303 is all I've ever used on my fabric top. Works great and excellent UV protection. I end up applying it about every 6 mo's or so when I see it's not beading anymore.
