CD player acting up

CD player acting up
On my C5 with 44000 miles..........
Sometimes CD's play perfect, sometimes not. What happens is as I push the disc in, the radio continues to play and eventually the unit spits the CD out.
I try different discs but can't make it work.
I leave it alone and it works well the next time.

Help. Help. Are there no radio experts out there? Another thing I notice is as I open the door the CD player starts "running". Like it is trying to play a CD or something...................

If you go to the main menu page and scroll down, you'll find the "Audio/electronics Forum". Someone there might be able to address your specific BOSE issue...more than likely they'll suggest you buy a "better" sound system though.

It was nice to be able to help as I have so often received on this forum. It was here that I got the idea to put in an Alpine iDA-X001. Didn't need to keep the old unit around and it was nice to find a home for it. Dale sent a check for shipping and a nice piece of pottery from his beautiful province.
