Q re BPP MAF Housing Alignment
I was in the middle of swapping the stock MAF ends with the upgraded product when I noticed that the drilled holes in the downstream MAF end are not located accurately. One hole is slightly elongated vertically and the opposite corner hole was drilled too low by 1/2 the diameter of the hole.
Also, the other two holes on the downstream end are countersunk from the inside. Why?
Finally, the holes are not threaded, is one supposed to use the stock machine screws to "self-tap" the threads?
I realize I can just redrill the holes and use longer fasteners with nuts on the back, but for $140 I expected more.
(BPP hasn't answered my email.)
Thanks for the help.
