Default Headlights won't go down!!!

I changed my headlights this evening and when I went to test them they worked but now they won't go down. It sounds like the headlight motor is still going and the interior chimes. So I pulled the fuses for the motors for now. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance..

Did you install HID Bulbs and Ballast ?

Put on your high beams and then turn off lights, it will work.

Problem is the HID's have the wrong resistance.

Cool! Yes hid and ballasts. And I assume I would have to put on the high beams everytime before I shut them off?

Yes, That's the trade off with some of those cheap flea-bay systems.

Good point! But they really are 100 times better than the stock and the ballasts are actually German made. And turning on the high's before shutting the lights off works fine...case closed!

The that sells them on the CF has the right ballast resistance so that you don't have the problem. The kit is like $280, just for you info if you get tired of flipping lights.

with you that they are ten times better than stock. I put them in my jeep and will on my vette when I get them back from UPS.

I went with Specter Werkes lights and UPS damaged them in shipping.
