No dip stick, the owners manual states 50k if you drive hard and 100k if you don't. It is pretty hard to change the fluid, you have to have the engine running to pump the fluid through the tranns, cooler and TQ to get all the old fluid out. I would not bother trying to do it yourself, a shop can do it pretty easily...

I would only be concerned if you do any type of racing, then you may need to switch fluids and change it more often.

Trans is in the rear directly in front of the differential. No dipstick. Most recommend every 50,000 miles. More often with very aggressive driving habits (30,000?) An extra trans cooler will dramatically extend the life of the transmission whether the car is normally driven hard or not.

there is no dip stick - the only way to check level is to get the car in the air, open trani fill port and put your finger in."how often should it be changed?"- you'll get a lot of different answers to that one- some guys on this forum change it every other Saturday night before their bath.
Why not check your owners manual? I do mine every 25K but that's just me.

I've got an external cooler and get the transmission flushed every 30 miles. The external cooler and flush are cheap insurance.
