Service Ride Control **PLEASE HELP**
Service ride control
Shocks inoperative
Maximum Speed 80 mph
I did lift the car for the oil change. Could I have damaged something to cause this problem?
When the car was lifted, the shocks were fully extended (I guess). Could this have done something? I have approx 35,000 miles.
I checked the connectors on the shocks as another member suggested. I even removed the battery, hoping to reset the computer. Any other suggestions?
This is driving me nuts, because the error appears every 10 minutes!!
One more piece of info, I washed the car after the oil change. Could I have gotten water somewhere it shouldn't go???

Thank you for the help!

B2282 - Battery #1 Fault DCM-Left (LH Door Control Module)
B2283 - Battery #1 Fault DCM-Right (RH Door Control Module)
B2284 - Battery #2 Fault DCM-Left (LH Door Control Module)
B2285 - Battery #2 Fault DCM-Right (RH Door Control Module)
ACTION: 1. Disconnect the left DCM. Measure the voltage from the DCM connector C3 terminal A to ground. Is the voltage within specified range? 10.0V - 14.0V If not, then it recommends replacing the DCM.
As far as the other codes:
U1016 - Loss of Communications with PCM (PCM = Powertrain Control Module)
U1064 - Loss of Communications with BCM (BCM = Body Control Module)
U1096 - Loss of Communications with IPC (IPC = Instrument Panel Cluster)
I would highly recommend taking it to a shop (or Dealership) that has a Tech2 - Scan Tool. You're having certain electrical problems that are affecting other parts of the car. Unfortunately you're starting to experience the same kind of Electrical/Computer problems that I have lately. My Stall Converter wouldn't stay locked-up on the freeway,......I later found out it was a bad "Right Front Oxygen Sensor" that was causing it.
I'm sure this didn't help you much in understanding why it would say: SERVICE RIDE CONTROL, but as I mentioned...... if you're having a problem with something in particular, it's possible that it's being caused by something completely different within your car. I hope you're able to get it figured out soon!
