Need a C5 electrical smart guy or gal
what i want to do is have the fog lights NOT activate during the lock and unlock(approach) process using the key fob. i just installed the HID mod to the fogs and i'm pretty sure they won't endure the wear and tear of being flashed, but i'd like to keep the approach and lock light feature with the remaining lights.

You could rig an extra relay to the fog light switch to totally disable the fogs unless the fog light switch is powered.

with what they said. the first is the easiest, the second more elegant and OEM like.
