Dyno a 4.10?
Anyone know what the 4.10 over the 3.42 rear costs in RWHP?

Keep in mind that is not a real loss.. The Dyno simply cannot translate the correct number.
If the dyno measured foot lbs direct from the tires instead of calculating it you see a huge difference..
Ask your tires when they go up in smoke when you hammer the pedal if they felt an HP loss..
I love my 4:10's!!!

There is definately a loss due to higher drivetrain loss with the upgraded gearing. But the loss of 1-3%HP loss comes at a 20% increase of rwtorque (from 3.42's). A trade most of us will likely make

20% seems a bit high. Does anyone have any literature on this or something? I am curious as well.

20% increase in gearing = 20% increase in torque at the wheels.
