When in shift into 4th Gear in High RPM the gear grinds but if I let the RPM's fall and then shift it dosent grind at all does that mean that 4th gear syncro is bad? I have a 6 speed pretty obvious I guess....

Sounds like you're on the right track unfortunately.
You can try changing your transmission fluid, worked for my 6th gear grinding. These transmissions are sensitive to dirty fluid. I find that I must change mine every 50,000 miles and I use synthetic (currently Amsoil).
I have changed shifters and tranny oils, no luck at all.It still grinds going into fourth gears. I am looking for somebody in the Bufalo, N.Y.
area to remove and replace the tranny so I can send it to RPM Transmission. I want it to be a number matching car.

Mine grinds when I make fast shifts while cold. Normal shifts or fast shifts after it's hot, seem to be fine. I think I might try to change the oil to see if that changes anything.
