Another forum member posted pics of his setup with the Katech kit. His worked fine also. Katech said they recommended NOT using them with a stock hood..

No BS!

I have the Katech brackets and MSD coils. We even had to use spacers to get the coils to fit in the brackets. They still don't hit the hood liner.

Katech also told me spacers were needed if I was going to use MSD coils. I can only tell you what they told me. BTW, they WILL NOT make your valve covers any more. Damn, you have collectables!! LOL

Does anyone know who else besides Katech (and RPM) that makes these relocation kits?

Katech with only work with THEIR valve covers. And numerous emails, PM's and phone calls to Charlie are going unanswered and I need to get this engine done next week.

I have the GMPP Bowtie valve covers that are in one of these pics. I want to move the coils up top to see them.

Any help will be appreciated.

I just noticed this thread. Maybe some things said were misunderstood. Our coil relocation will work on a C5 using our valve covers. If you are using MSD coils and .5" spacers you will have hood clearance problems. If you are using stock coils you will have no problems.

THANKS DOUG---saw the pics on your site... It says HINGED to access valve cover bolts? I have these valve covers
and want the coils up by the fuel rails.. Is that what your kit does????

ALSO your site says... FOR use with MOROSO fab valve covers----does it work with the GMPP Covers in this pic?

THANKS! Brian
