So after reading a bunch of bad reviews on the McLeod adjustable master on LS1tech, I ordered a RAM. After looking at the RAM I'm thinking I messed up. Will the McLeod offer more adjustment? After all my clutch troubles I don't want to waste my time with this RAM.
Thanks

The Mcleod is a complete redesign. The Ram is a modifed Stock just like the Cartek. I don't see where either one "Properly Adjusted" would be better than the other..
As far as adjustability They both look to offer a good range..
All you are needing with the adjustable master is not overextend the clutch diaphram. So the clutch is fully released when you hit the end of pedal travel.
For the record.. I believe the folks who have issues with adjustable masters are not adjusting them correctly.
I have a Like new Mcleods for sale $180.00
I used it for 1500 miles , 3 months before switching to the textralia clutch which works better with a stock master.
where were you a week ago before I ordered the RAM? I'll try this and see how it works, thanks. This has been some fun project. With the shim in the clutch never fully disengauged, and with the shim out the clutch engauges on the floor. Hope this adjustable master works. I'd say to anyone looking, buy the right clutch. One with the right sized flywheel. Messing around with shims and adjustable masters is no fun.
