Radio Red Blinking Light?
Good Morning, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the red blinking light is to the right of the volume **** on my radio. I have a 99 with the single CD radio..................thanks........... .....Steve

Means the anti theft code has been activated in your radio. If power is lost or the radio is stolen, it won't play until you enter the code. There are posts on the forum to get the code if you don't know it. I'd find it out or disable it before disconnecting the battery for any reason. The security function is described in the audio section of your owner's manual.

It's called TheftLock. I use mine, I like people to see the red flashing light inside the car, makes them think the car has an alarm and that it is armed.
If TheftLock is not activated then the red light does not flash.
If TheftLock is not activated then the red light does not flash.

If you disconnect the battery just make sure you have the reactivation code to get it going again.
