99 coupe will not go into Comp mode?

99 coupe will not go into Comp mode?

Anyone have any ideas? My 2000 A4 had the selectable suspension and I never had any issues getting it to go into comp mode by holding the TC button down for 5-10 seconds. I have tried to do it with my 99 M6 several times over the last few days with no sucess. There are no codes, no DIC warnings or anything like that, any ideas? Thanks

The first thing you need to do is check and see if the car has Active Handling. In 99 AH was an option. Check for RPO Code JL4. If you have it then you have a problem. If not all you are doing is turning the traction control on and off.

Us early C-5's have to be stopped while you push the button

And of course .. you have to have the option as stated above

Yeah I probably dont have it. I dont know how to check on the codes on the car. Thanks for all th help.

Look under the left rear storage compartment door at the list of options on your car, if it has the JL4 code, you have it. Newer model have the codes on the glove box door.
