Can anyone recommend a light weight battery? I have 768RWHP and I want to cut weight. Thanks, Paul

Odyssey Batteries...

Some of the lightest weight, most powerful batteries available.

Good luck... GUSTO

I've got a 13.5 lb Hawker Genesis in my 01 Z06. Works great (it's several years old although I didn't put it into service until recently).

19.2 lbs lighter than the OEM unit.

The Odyssey is made by Hawker to, but supposed to be geared toward use in a vehicle

Wow,
With that much horsepower,I would think the weight wouldn't be of much issue, but the relocation and placement of weight over the rear wheels might yeild better results

Just a thought..

You asked about the lightest. This one is promising. I might get one myself. Lightweight Battery

That's light alright. But it doesn't have much of a reserve to it. It's very expensive too. The weight you save you could make up with just a couple more HP.

Understood, but he asked about the lightest, and that is about the lightest. They also have another model: Bigger lightweight battery It also has a higher reserve rating.

I have a braille that weighs about 12-15 lbs depending on the model and it works fine.
