Default What coolant temperatures do you see.

I need some help. I would like to see what coolant temperatures you guys are seeing. Please only reply if you have the following:

1. 2001-2004 Z06 (If you have a non Z06 that is fine but please state not a Z06)
2. Stock radiator
3. Stock air dam etc. bringing air to radiator.
4. No intercoolers or anything else except the stock AC condensor in front of the radiator.
5. Engine cooling fans programed to come on at lower temperatures than stock.

A. Please say what are the highest cooant temperatures you see with the air conditioning on when stopped in stop & go traffic when it is 90 to 100 degrees out side.

B. If you know please say what temperature the fans are set to come on low speed and what temperature they are set to come on high speed. (The service manual for a 2002 says both fans go on low speed at 219 degrees and both fans go on high speed at 228 degrees.)

C. If you have engine mods or anything that might effect the coolant temperaure please say what you have.

I'm having what I believe to be a cooling issue and want to find out what temperatures you folks are seeing under the conditions listed above.
Thanks for your help.

I have an 02 MN6 Coupe with 02 ZO6 Heads and Cam. K&N FIPK air cleaner without the fan shroud cut for fresh air. 178 deg. thermostat.

Have my fans set:
#1 fan on @ 211 off @ 204
#2 fan on @ 220 off @ 213

With A/C on I will usually see about 200 deg. unless it’s over 100 deg. outside. Then about 210-220. A/C off in traffic it will just run against the fans, usually the #1 fan is all that’s needed to keep the temp below 211.

04 mn6, non z06
Stop and go traffic in Houston without the a/c on 178-185. Freeway without the a/c 178-180. Don't know with the a/c on; don't use it. Full bolt ons and cam, 160 stat.

2. Stock radiator

Yes

3. Stock air dam etc. bringing air to radiator.

Yes

4. No intercoolers or anything else except the stock AC condensor in front of the radiator.

Yes

5. Engine cooling fans programed to come on at lower temperatures than stock.

Using Vinci fan switch, on at 207, off at 201 degrees.

A. Please say what are the highest cooant temperatures you see with the air conditioning on when stopped in stop & go traffic when it is 90 to 100 degrees out side.

A/C off typically the engine doesn't go over the programmed 207 degrees

Yesterday in 90 degree weather, top up and A/C on the engine temp was reaching 214 degrees.

B. If you know please say what temperature the fans are set to come on low speed and what temperature they are set to come on high speed. (The service manual for a 2002 says both fans go on low speed at 219 degrees and both fans go on high speed at 228 degrees.)

2003 Z06 H/C car (mods in sig) Callaway Honker with cut shroud; HP-Tuner set the fans to come on low speed @ 190, off @ 185. High speed on @ 195, off @ 190. 160 degree thermostat; Nashville TN temps 95 to 100 in traffic car never > 195. Interstate 70 mph, sixth gear, car runs 178. Winter time driving reset fans or temp too low to burn off moisture in oil. 30 degrees outside (or less) car runs 140 on the interstate; 150 in traffic: fans never come on.
