door lights
are the red lens on the doors lights are just reflectors?
i just bought a 98 vette and was curious
also isn't there supposed to be a led on the dash showing the alarm is armed?

I'm pretty sure they are just reflectors.
There is no LED for the factory theft deterent system. It isn't a true alarm system like an aftermarket unit. The only indicator is the 'Security' light in the gauge cluster.

The doors only have reflectors
The stereo however has a blinking red LED once you program your own theft deterrent code, this blinks continuously when when your doors are locked (unlike the yellow dash security blinker, which only blinks a few times). Look at you manual for info...
