99' fuel filter/regulator relocated?
I'm putting in 3:73 gears today. I thought I would replace my fuel filter while I was in there. I found out my fuel filter and regulator was one unit at a nice price of $53.00!! Needless to say I didn't buy it since I'm going to put in an adjustable regulator later anyway. My question is, has anyone relocated there regulator, filter and maybe even the noisey fuel pump? And if so, where did they put it? Thanks.. :seeya

I have replaced the fuel filter/regulator and both fuel lines (from the filter to the engine as it is one piece) on my car. I dont see any reason you would relocate it or change to an adjustable regulator. If you did you would have to have a custom fuel line fabricated because the fuel line is under a great amount of pressure. In addition to removing the diff, torque tube, tranny & your left header if you have them. As far as I am concerned you would be wasting time and money changing the Fuel setup you already have. Just change the fuel filter and be sure to use the special removal tool for the filter on the forward line.
