Storage: Jackstands vs. ground...
Ok, I got some good responses from my battery tender question....now, do I want to let this sit on the tires for 4 months in one place or jack it up and leave it on jack stands. I would rather leave it on stands as this would make it convienent to work on. Is there any problem with this?

Balancing the car on pucks on stands can definitely be tricky. A decent quake in seattle would *really* ruin your day.
I'm working on a little adapter to the puck which locks it to the stand..
I think one of the bigger worries I have about stands is whether the surface is level. When you park the car on an uneven surface, the suspension compensates. But when it rests on stands, the frame will be stressed. The C5 is very stiff, but a few months of loading will take a toll. Especially if you park it in that same uneven spot, season after season.
On a regular car, the frame will twist and full contact non-level jackstands. A stiff car won't (at least not at first). I don't have my Z06 yet, so I'm not sure what it will do. My very stiff race car pivots. If one stand is 1/8" lower, you can pivot it.
I believe this is another reason why you want rubber pucks that have some give instead of solid wood pucks.
Supporting the car by 3 points solves the level issue.
I'm working on an elegant solution to this problem that will *really* solve it. But I need to develop and test it on my own car first.
