Base C6 front brakes vs C5 - What differences?

Base C6 front brakes vs C5 - What differences?
Question for people who have first hand knowledge - and yes I have searched and found conflicting information.
I would like to do the C5 brake upgrade on my 92 C4, and would like to know if I could gather the same parts off of a base C6.
1) Are the calipers identical? - if not what are the differences - Some say identical, some say more reinforcements in the casting.
2) Caliper Brackets - identical to the C5? Haven't seen too much on this other than the Z51 is a different bracket which I understand due to larger rotors. - But back to the base model - identical to the C5?
3) Rotors - I understand that its the same 12.8" size as the C5 but I searched the web and read where its actually a different casting and weigh about 2lbs more. Is this correct? are there differences?
4) Pads - Read several accounts where folks say identical - Pretty sure this is a yes
5) Anyone know if the brake lines on C5 or C6 can be used on a C4?
I am trying to do this swap on a budget - so if you know of any or are willing to part with any of the above needed parts at a fair price let me know.
