Its been a while since I've asked this kind of question... and since the TFS heads are in the market, what kind of numbers would this combo yeild through a 6 speed and 3.42's?
TFS 215's (59'cc and C/R ~ 11.4:1)
FMS F11 cam (.576/.595 228/230 duration on a 114 LSA)
Kooks 1 7/8" headers
Dual 3" exh. w/x-pipe (no cats)
Mamo Fast 90/LS2 TB
SVO 30# inj (will they be alright for this?)
25% UD pulley
I want as much power under the curve as possible... I was thinking mabe going with a bigger cam (i.e. G5x3 or somthing) but having felt the F11 in the car without heads, I really don't think I need to... the car doesn't weigh anything in the first place (3k or so with me in it). The car will be a street/strip/auto-x car. Thanks for any input as always.
I'm doing a similar package now, but without the Fast 90/90(can't afford it right now). I think it all depends on the tune. For my set up, I'm guessing 450-460rwhp, for you 470-480? I think with the fast that is ported, it would be about 20 rwhp more. My car goes in the shop on monday.
I have virtually the same cam, 228/228 .590 113lsa w/stage 2 ported
ls6 heads(59cc), SVO 30's, FAST, Kooks 13/4's and I am 448/416. FYI, I was told I could not run an X3 cam w/0 flycutting pistons with 59cc heads! I am curious to see your #'s and see the gains from the TFS 215's!!
