1000cc injectors = to XXX lb/hr???
Just a quick question because a buddy says he's breaking my heart putting these 1000cc injectors in his car. Says that they are equivalent to 100 lb/hr and that mine are 'only' 60 lb/hr.
So what are the 1000cc injectors comparable to in lb/hr?

The conversion formula is...
cc/min value divided by 10.5 = lb/hr
1000cc/min injectors would equate to 95.2 lb/hr.
Your 60lb injectors are 630cc/min
Only the ricers are usually concerned about injector size bragging rights. If your friend's engine truly requires those injectors to keep the injector duty cycle in the 80% ballpark, look out.
Injectors only feed hp, they do not make it. The rule of thumb is to size them adequately, but don't go too overboard and think bigger is always better. Shoot for 80% IDC at peak hp, and you have the best sized injectors for your application.

Well I'll be
He's dropping thoose injectors in an 01 Nissan Maxima. Motor is sleeved and wants to run boost (30 lbs) and nitrous. Says he'll be making 700 at the wheels before nitrous. Some company in Colorado called PFI is building him this motor. Says its going to run him about 9 grand for just a stock motor bored stroked and sleeved. I know he's getting shafted.
