Well, I thinking of going with a ported 90/90 setup agian. I had one on my last H&C C5 and did not like it. It was not ported though. I went back to the LS6 manifold because even though the dyno showed more power and torque the sit of the pants feel was a noticable loss of power on the low end. I also did not like the sound of the engine with the FAST. The manifold emitted a hollow air indution sound that did not sound good to me at all.

Enter, now. I have another H&C C5 and am thinking of trying it agian, although this time with a ported unit.

Question is did you notice a soft power feel on the low end and do you notice the different induction sound.

In my opinion, you really cant "feel" 20-25rwhp.
Some people may disagree, but that's just my experience. 40+ can be felt on the other hand.
The track is where mods REALLY show.

My ASP pulley netted me a couple tenths, couldnt feel it, but it showed in my track times with the TA I had.
Same with the exhaust, ect. Unless you do it all at once, odds are, you probably wont feel it.

My observations, mine is ported by Tony Mamo. Yes, the engine sound is different, kind of hollow. Hard to explain but its there, difference is I kind of like it. As for the low end response, not sure what you had before but I have the NW throttle body and the throttle response is excellent. Don't think there is anything you can do about the sound, but the throttle response can be taken care of with proper porting.

What heads are you running?

The soft throttle response you felt with your previous 90/90 setup is mostly due to the TB not being ported. There's a noticeable difference with Tony's ported TBs. BTW, I've got one for sale, that's not only TM ported, but polished too.
