295/35-18 Goodyear GSD3's don't hold 500 RWHP very well. Sold those, and made a little upgrade. Nitto NT555R Drag Radials in a nice and wide 305/35-18. These suckers are WIDE. The pic with my hand, for reference, shows that. I'm 6'3" and have hands big enough to palm a basketball if that says anything.

Going on vacation until the 30th on Saturday so the car is still on jackstands unfortunately. That, and I'm waiting to see how this warranty claim I have with Factory Reproductions on my machined face ZO6 wheels turns out. The clearcoat is TRASHED and there's only like 3-4K miles on the wheels and the car was parked from Oct through June essentially.

I had those 275/40's on one of my 93 T/A's (the one I sold in Dec). GREAT for the street, not so much for the track. I hooked harder with Firehawk SZ50's than the Nitto's at the track. My main reason/deciding factor on the upgrade was my buddies 600+ RWHP 95 Z28. He's got the 285's in an 18" rim and he hooks like no tomorrow. I had forgotten how good they were for the street, and it should take me at least 18 months to wear these out. I just want to get them on and get to driving!

I thought about it, but too much of a squeeze for 10.5" wheels. And I'm simply not in a position for new wheels right now, and I really like my Machined Face wheels too. But consider it?? YES I DID.

Yeah, it's a tungsten band. Specifically bought because I tend to be rough to things. I've crushed little pebbles under this band and it hasn't even phased it. Not so much as a scratch. That one looks huge on me because it is. I'm down about 40lbs from when I got married and you can't get those things resized, but I get a one time exchange for a different size.

Whoever said talk to Bob about some 12's, I would, but they don't do the Machined Face ZO6 wheels in 18x12's. The quit doing the 19x11 right when I bought mine actually. So I'm kind of stuck, but I'm not going to complain too loud.
